Come to camp for Summer 2013! We know it is going to be a great year because our God is awesome beyond compare.
Our 2013 Summer theme is “REMEDY” and it comes to us from 1 John 4:10!
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.(NIV)
During your time at camp you will discover how Jesus is the cure or REMEDY for all! Through skits, worship, singing, games and other great activities, this message will come alive. Through Jesus we have the REMEDY to help us when we are sick, helpless and sinful. We will also learn how together with others in the larger church, we can all work together to help others in the world, to lovingly share the REMEDY, Jesus Christ with others around the world!

SPECIALTY CAMP OPPORTUNITIES!
BACK AGAIN! Live Wire Music Camp-Just completed grades 7-12
Whether your church sings mostly hymns, mostly modern praise songs, or a blend of both, music is an awesome way to proclaim what God has done. We want to invite everyone who plays an instrument, sings or simply has a love of music to Live Wire Music camp. Here campers will learn several worship songs in chapel in order to bring them back to their church and help lead them in worship. Adult leaders are also invited to come and bring young musicians from their church or community.
We will be exploring many different aspects of how we use music to worship God. We will listen to and study popular Christian music and timeless hymns. We will see how music was used throughout Scripture. Workshops will be offered teaching basic guitar lessons, keyboard lessons, and drum lessons. Plus there will be many opportunities to sing at chapel and campfires, in addition to all the free time options.
Please bring any instruments you’d like to practice. Keyboardists and drummers can use the equipment provided by the camp or bring their own. The camp will wrap up at 3:00 on Friday with a Celebration Concert highlighting the week!
BACK AGAIN! Outdoor Adventure – Just completed grades 7-12
Hiking, canoeing and camping-Oh my! You won’t be walking down the yellow brick road, but you will have a blast at this outdoor adventure camp. Campers will spend the first evening at camp learning outdoor skills like setting up a tent, cooking over fires, navigating in nature, and many other useful skills. The group will then travel off site, portage the lakes, camp, and explore the beautiful State parks and public land located around the camp. Bible studies and campfires will be woven throughout the trip.
Outdoor Adventure is limited to 20 boys and 20 girls, so sign up and send in your deposit early to reserve your spots! Both groups will go through the opening training together and then separate as they go off site. The week will conclude after lunch on Friday.
