 Day Camp is a wonderful program designed to meet the needs of congregations of all shapes and sizes. Ingham Okoboji sends out teams of college aged counselors to put on Vacation Bible School programs for churches across the state of Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. Included in the Day Camp program is staff, Bible Studies, arts and crafts, music, drama and more fun than you could have imagined! |

Day Camp Rates: $1350 base rate for member* churches The church is responsible for mileage to and from camp and to and from host homes at $0.505 per mile (the IRS standard mileage rate). (*A member church is a church that has made a congregational commitment to annually support the camp financially) |

Want to know more about Day Camp? Youth attending our Vacation Bible School programs are left wondering, "Why does it have to end?!" That's how it can be in your church! Kids who attend a week of Day Camp are so excited about experiencing Jesus during the week that they don't want to see the week come to a close. Congregations and camp staff work together to share the Good News of Jesus through worship, music, games, skits, crafts, and Bible-based lessons. Campers interact in both large and small group settings to dig into the fun. Hands-on activities are used to enhance the week's theme. A team from Ingham-Okoboji will staff your Day Camp with trained counselors. Our summer staff is made up of college-aged men and women who love Jesus and kids. They are committed to work for the glory of God and are equipped to lead all the programming for the week. The team size is determined according to the number of your Day Camp attendees. Day camp is usually held Monday through Thursday with flexible schedule options according to your congregation's needs. A camper program on Thursday is a great way to end the week because it gives families and friends an opportunity to see how the children's lives have been impacted by the Lord. |
