2020 Boji Family Getaway
Boji Family Getaway offers your family an opportunity to be together and create some great memories at camp. While this will look very different from the traditional family camp program, your family can still enjoy a fun, relaxing retreat this summer.
This program includes:
- Resources to have a self-guided time of spiritual family development.
- Freedom and flexibility to enjoy various recreational activities.
- Meals provided from Monday dinner to Thursday breakfast.
- Evening campfires by the beach.
IOLBC continues to monitor and follow the recommendations and guidelines of CDC and other governing authorities. Because of this, Boji Family Getaway will not include large group games, scheduled chapel times, or summer counselors. For your health and safety, this experience is designed to minimize interactions outside of your family or cohort (small group of families and/or friends). Additional steps have also been taken to maintain the cleanliness and disinfection of the camp facilities so you can fully relax and enjoy your stay.

*It is our hope and plan to offer open beach and swimming times on Tuesday and Wednesday in the late morning and afternoon hours. We want to ensure your safety and plan to schedule lifeguards during these times. Depending on the number of guests at camp, we may need to limit any potential for overcrowding in that area so we may ask families to observe a more scheduled approach to spending time at the beach. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
What Will IOLBC Expect
of Families Coming?
There will be some unique expectations of our campers this summer due to COVID-19. We ask for your patience and understanding as we strive to offer a safe getaway for all of our campers this summer.
If you are at high risk for contracting COVID-19, we will encourage you to stay home this summer. We love you and want to see you at camp for many more summers in the future.
If you, or a family member living in your home, has been sick or shown symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your arrival to camp, please do not come to camp.
Prior to Arrival
Please monitor the daily temperature of all family members for 14 days prior to your arrival at camp.
Please monitor all family members for any flu-like symptoms for 14 days prior to your arrival at camp.
Please take steps as a family to limit your potential exposure to COVID-19 for 14 days prior to your arrival to camp.
Honoring social distancing guidelines in regards to other families and camp staff in public spaces such as the game room, the beach front, the campfire ring, and dining hall.
Use of a facemask for all school aged children and adult campers when social distancing is not possible.
If you, or any family member staying in your housing with you, becomes sick while at camp, we will ask your family to immediately self-quarantine and make plans to depart for home as soon as possible.
