Take a break. Catch your breath. Rest, relax, and be renewed by God. ABIDE is a brand new weekend retreat for young adults to gather for worship, Bible teaching, fun activities, and connection with other young adults.

God brings life out of death and healing out of brokenness. In Christ we discover that God gives us a restored relationship with the Father, a restored identity, a restored purpose, and a restored sense of belonging in community.

Jamie Richards is a central IA native and earned a degree in Christian Education and Ministry with an emphasis in Youth Ministry and Adolescent Studies from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA, before moving to the greater Seattle area to serve as a youth minister. After more than half a decade, she moved back to IA and stepped into the role of Young Adult  Minister for REVIVE at Hope in West Des Moines.
Her initial step into ministry was through Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp in Story City, IA, where she was on summer staff as a Camp Counselor, Discipleship Team member and as an Assistant Program Coordinator. 
Outside of work, you’ll find Jamie at the movies, drinking chai with friends, being active outside or on social media … because let’s be honest ... Instagram rules.
