Have you ever wanted an opportunity to have an impact in the Kingdom of God? Join us for a summer set apart from all others to serve the Lord. Share the good news about Jesus with kids and families and have a blast at Ingham and Okoboji. We want you to join our team of friends you’ll always remember for a summer you’ll never forget!
Our summer begins with two weeks of staff training starting on May 25. It is followed by nine weeks of camp, ending on August 11. Time off is available by request, and can be discussed in the application and interview. Junior Counselors typically start one week later, on June 1. The application process is as easy as 1-2-3:

Complete online application form OR download, complete, and return application packet.

Contact three people to serve as references to you, and ask them to fill out the online or paper reference form.

Schedule an interview (via Zoom or in person).
That is all there is to it! A decision of hire letter will be sent out to applicants shortly after the application, references, and interview are completed in full.

Junior Counselor Application: If you will have completed your Junior or Senior year of high school before summer begins this is the application for you.
Senior Staff / Internship Application: If you have been out of high school for a complete year before summer begins, and have never worked as a Senior Staff at Ingham Okoboji before, this is the application for you. Also, if you are interested in working in a support role at the camp (kitchen, maintenance, housekeeping, etc.) or seeking an internship, please use this application packet.
Returning/Leadership Application: If you have already worked as a Senior Staff Member at IOLBC, or if you are seeking a leadership position, this is the application for you. (Leadership applications must be in by November 26, counselor applications will be acted upon as soon as they are received).
